Why would I replace vs. cashing out with my insurance company?

Executive Diamond Services LTD offers wholesale pricing on up to 80% of our products. The benefit to you the customer is that you are getting a great price and in most instances a better product for the amount we quoted to replace your lost jewellery. The prices we offer our insurance companies are typically up to 30% lower in some instances. Even if you have gone to your regular jeweller for a quote your insurance company will still only pay out the lower priced quote. This lower priced quote benefits you from a replacement perspective, whether you wanted to replace like for like or upgrade you will still be offered the same pricing structure. If you opt for a cash out with the intention of replacing with another jeweller you will typically be loose between 25% and in some cases up to 50% on the already lower quoted amount. If for example, we quote you $4000.00 dollars to replace your jewellery, if you opted for a cash out you would receive a cash out amount of approximately 3000.00 back on a cash out based on a min of 25%, if you took that $3000.00 to a regular jeweller the same quoted amount of 4000.00 would be a minimum retail amount of $5800.00 up to $7800.00 in some instance's. In theory, you stand to lose up to $4800.00. Please consult with your insurance company regarding your specific cash out policy; different carriers have different policies regarding cash outs.
